Privacy policy

Who we are

Studio Scheduler is provided by Lagerman Labs LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company. This policy applies to the Studio Scheduler iOS app and to the booking page at lagermanlabs.com/book when it is opened from a photographer's private booking link.

Two groups of people use Studio Scheduler: photographers, who hold an account and run a studio in the app, and clients, who have no account and request a session through a link the photographer sends them.

Information we handle

• Photographer account information: a display name, email address, and password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider; the app keeps a sign-in token on the device in the system keychain so you stay signed in.
• Studio settings: the studio name, contact email, time zone, minimum lead time, and slot increment; session types with their duration, buffers, price, deposit amount, and color; locations with a name, address, optional map coordinates, and notes; weekly availability; calendar blocks; and booking-link records. For each booking link we store only a hash of the link token, along with its expiry, use limits, and when it was last used, so a link cannot be reconstructed from our records.
• Client booking information: the name, email address, optional phone number, and notes a client enters on the booking page, together with the session, date, time, and location requested, the request's status, and a random request identifier that keeps a double-submitted form from creating two bookings. A photographer may also enter a client's details directly in the app. This information is stored in that photographer's studio record and is visible to the studio's members.
• Support information: messages and files you choose to send when asking us for help.
• Service and security information: our hosting and authentication providers may process IP addresses, browser or device details, and request logs to operate and secure the service. The booking service also keeps short-lived request counters per booking link to limit abuse. The booking page stores only your light or dark theme preference in your browser. It sets no cookies and includes no analytics or advertising code, and the app contains no tracking or analytics SDKs.

How we use information

We use this information only to:

• create and sign in photographer accounts;
• show clients times that are genuinely open and reserve the one they pick;
• hold a requested time briefly (about 30 minutes) while the photographer confirms it, and release the hold if they do not;
• let the photographer contact a client about their request;
• provide support, prevent abuse, and protect the service; and
• meet legal obligations and enforce our rights.

Booking updates

The checkbox on the booking page confirms that the photographer whose link you used may contact you about your request using the details you entered. Lagerman Labs does not send automated booking emails or text messages today, and we will update this policy before Studio Scheduler begins sending messages on a photographer's behalf.

When information is shared

We disclose information to service providers that host, secure, and operate Studio Scheduler: Supabase for authentication and the database, in a project hosted in the eastern United States, and OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, which host and deliver lagermanlabs.com including the booking page. They process information for us under their own security and privacy commitments.

A client's request is shared with the photographer whose booking link they used and with any other members of that studio. Studio Scheduler does not connect to payment processors or calendar services. The only message it sends is the password-reset email from the sign-in provider.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Retention and deletion

Photographer account and studio records remain available until the photographer deletes the account. Deleting the account from Settings permanently removes the account, the studio, and every session type, location, booking link, client, and booking stored with it, and clears Studio Scheduler data stored by the app on that device. Limited copies may remain temporarily in provider backups or security logs before they expire.

Clients do not create Studio Scheduler accounts. A request that the photographer does not confirm within the hold window is canceled automatically, but the client's contact details remain part of the photographer's records until the photographer or we remove them. Per-link request counters are pruned within a few days.

Your choices

Photographers can sign out, reset a forgotten password from the sign-in screen (the emailed link returns you to the app), and delete their account from Settings under Delete account. For access or correction requests, or if you cannot reach the app, email us from the address on the account.

Clients should first contact the photographer who sent the link to change, cancel, or remove a request. If you cannot reach them, we can help locate the record when you give us enough detail, such as the studio name, the email address you used, and the date requested, to verify it is yours. Children

Studio Scheduler is a professional scheduling tool and is not directed to children under 13. The booking page is for adults arranging a session; please do not enter a child's contact details.

Security and changes

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including storing booking-link tokens only as SHA-256 hashes, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Treat a booking link like a password and do not forward it. We may update this policy as Studio Scheduler changes. The updated date above will show when a revision takes effect.
